What To Do When You Want To Sell Gold Online

September 14, 2009 by moneymaker

With Gold prices being at all time highs, its no wonder people are turning to the web to sell their scrap gold and jewelry. There are a lot of options out there but the consumer has the be careful in choosing the right company. Some companies prey on the uninformed and this can lead to you getting less then what your gold is really worth.

I have found there are several things to be aware of if you are to get the most for your gold.

First, make sure the company you are dealing with has a A+ rating with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). This isĀ  important because A+ means no complaints by consumers who have issues. It gives you a sense that the company is reputable and has happy clients.

Secondly, make sure the company uses Fedex and gives you a prepaid label with tracking and insurance. This is especially important as you are sending in your valuables and want to be and to track the package and have proper insurance.

Thirdly, make sure the company has no complaints online. This can be a true tell if the company you are dealing with is reputable. People complaining online is your best resource on judging whether or not the company can be trusted.

In my research I have found a company that fits these criteria and is one that I feel comfortable in recommending. Their name is Empire Gold and their website is sellgoldhere.com. The company is out of New York CIty and has a A+ rating with BBB, good customer feedback on ratepoint.com and no negative complaint feedback online. They also use Fedex to ship and track/insure all the packages.

I recommend doing your research first but I suggest that you check these guys out and Sell Gold to them.
